Mother' Day Blessing

Well last Sunday was Mother's Day & what a wonderful Mother's Day it was. I already new it was bound to be a great day because 1) I have the best & most wonderful Mother of all that I get to spend it with & 2) My sister had just come back from Medical school on summer vaca. What happened was so far beyond any gift a Mom could ever ask for. My three oldest got up & testified about how thankful they were to have me in there lives & how I could have died because of the cancer. Oh my goodness what a tearjerker! Then the Spirit of the Lord came in during the song, that was so sweet & wonderful by its self, but beyond that all three of my oldest felt it so strong too. Their lips were quivering & they were bawling. Josiah is positive he got the Holy Ghost! How wonderful! What more could a Mother ask for, her children seeking after the Lord. It filled my heart, I'm so grateful & thankful for all these Blessings the Lord has bestowed on me. I'm unworthy!

Grace

We went to the Dr with Grace & they said they found that she has a small part of the brain that didn't develop correctly on the right side. He said the only problems associated with this is just some people get seizures. He said there are others that have this & never know about it. So she won't have trouble learning or using the right side of the brain, so Praise the Lord. She is on a better medicine now, but right know she is on both. It takes a process to switch medicines. Praying & hoping when shes switched her moods will get back to normal. The Dr. said that if she can continue not to have any seizures for 3 years we can wean her off the medicine & she will most likely not have them again. So we are Praying that is what happens & would appreciate all your prayers too. Thank you for all for your prayers & concerns!

Update on Grace

Grace had a sedated MRI on Monday. We have an appointment to see the Dr. next Wednesday, but he called to let is know they did find that the right side of the brain hasn't full developed. That is one of the causes of her seizures. He didn't say much more then that & said he would go into more detail at the appointment & what options we have. So far since she has been on her medicine she has been doing really good, although it makes her very cranky & edgy (so pray for us). So we will are going to talk to him about that too. It's hard cause she has always been so good, quiet & calm. Now she can't sit still, won't listen & is crabby.

Thinking about my wonderful Sister

Just thinking about my sis today, well I think of her all the time, but I'm not happy cause I missed her call yesterday. Poor thing has been working so hard & studying so much & she took the time to call little old me & I didn't have my phone with me. She is holding up so well, I'm so proud of her. She is going to be a great Dr. one day, but we will miss her terribly while she is gone.
